Mostly just ^ that, but then here are lots of words from my head...
Naps: I am a nap person. Of course as a child I thought they were an ancient torture technique that the mothers of America had adopted to get time alone, but as a teenager who worked as a camp counselor I soon found their value. (Its not hard when you are keeping track of 12 hyper girls between 8-12, and then the next week you get more, and the next week you get more. repeat.) Naps do have the down side of the first ten minutes after you wake up... you feel you have dementia and are a small whimpering child for 10 minutes but it gets much better and for the rest of the day, you too can feel like that girl on Happy-go-lucky... so basically - happy and go lucky.
Dogs: I'm not a dog person. I don't see a dog. and run after it. and ask its owners if I can pet it. I pet dogs that run up to me, mostly out of obligation. But I am not a cruel, soul-less human, I just don't like how they jump on me. There are two dogs that I like. One is Kit, a mini Lassie dog (I know there is a bread name but remember... not a "dog person"), this dog is fluffy, soft, and nice, also it can go hiking even though it is so short. The other is Lark, she has one blue eye and one not blue eye. This dog is very sweet, stays near while walking, running, snowshoeing and probably other activities...but she turns into a wild animal while playing fetch till, its awesome!
My family has a dog, pretty much he barks too much, has bad breath, and is generally unpleasant however I do enjoy his company while napping...sometimes, the dog provides much warmth!
That is Lark. and me... it looks like I took a nap that day!
I agree with you, I never took as many naps as when I was a camp counselor! That dog is really cute and you are too <3
